Chandigarh, Jan 6: Actress Kangana Ranaut who is known for her controversial statements has again made it to the headlines after she reacted angrily to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security lapse in Punjab.
According to reports, Prime Minister Modi was traveling from Bathinda to Hussainiwala’s National Martyrs Memorial by road to speak at a rally when his convoy got stopped at a roadblock at Hussainiwala. Following this Modi returned from Punjab without speaking at a rally on Wednesday.
Reacting to the incident Kangana took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “What happened in Punjab is shameful, Honourable Prime Minister is democratically elected leader/representative/voice of 1.4 billion people, an attack on him is an attack on every single Indian… it is an attack on our democracy itself, Punjab is becoming a hub for terroristic activities if we don’t stop them now nation will have to pay a big price #bharatstandswithmodiji.”
Notably, Prime Minister Modi was scheduled to fly to Hussaniwala in a helicopter from Bhatinda. However, he had to travel by road since flying the helicopter was turned down due to heavy rains and low visibility.
Modi took the two hours long route to Hussainiwala after receiving confirmation from his security team and making plans with the DGP of Punjab Police. However, the Prime Minister faced with an unexpected situation.
