Puri, Oct 26: Lawyers and Shri Jagannanth Sena have demanded four-way entry into Shri Jagannath temple, Puri on Monday.
A group of representatives from the two outfits submitted a memorandum to Puri SP Kanwar Vishal Singh in this connection seeking permission for the natives of Puri through the four entrances of the temple.
The memorandum read, denizens of Puri are facing immense problems to enter into the Jagannath temple after the lockdown restrictions were lifted up. As a result, senior citizens and people who are depending on the temple for their livelihood fail to have darshan of the Trinity.
At the same time, citizens of Puri town take much hardship to get Mahaprashad at the Anand Bazaar for uncommon congregation of outside devotees.
In view to ease darshan for the locals, the outfits have appealed the district administration to allow people through the four gates, the memorandum read.
