Bhubaneswar, Aug 1: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, during a training programme for newly recruited teachers today, said that the state government has appointed around 14,000 teachers in the last three years.
A total of 6891 teachers assumed their posts under the School and Mass Education Department of the state government today. A training programme was organised for the new teachers at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
Congratulating them for joining the teaching profession, the CM said that the teachers are the glory of the nation and they have taken the responsibility of building the future generation of the country.
The CM also stressed upon the five keys to development and said that transparency, technology, teamwork, time, and transformation are the mantras of our administrative system.
Patnaik also informed that the transformation work of around 4000 state government schools in the state has been completed and the government targets to transform 4800 more schools in Odisha by December 2023.
